'GodFather', the Chiranjeevi-starrer, grossed Rs 69 Cr by the end of Thursday, which was its day two at the box office, Super Good Films and Konidela Production Company today said. The political actioner added Rs 31 Cr after amassing Rs 38 Cr on day one.
'GodFather', co-starring Nayanthara, Satya Dev and Salman Khan, didn't see a major drop in figures on the second day. The Dasara holiday season alone doesn't explain the hold. As per the makers, the positive buzz around the film is the reason for the stupendous hold.
The film's Hindi version is yet to see a major pick-up in its pace. The dynamics of the Hindi market are different. Recently, 'Karthikeya 2' went from strength to strength despite a dull start.
'GodFather' will be released in Tamil two weeks from now. There won't be a Malayalam release, Chiranjeevi confirmed recently.
