'Devara', starring Jr NTR in the lead, is reported to have clinched a spectacular overseas theatrical release deal. As per some media reports that emerged on Friday night, the overseas rights to the pan-Indian actioner have been sold to Hamsini Entertainment for an envious price of Rs 27 Cr.
There are ongoing discussions between NTR Arts and the distribution wing of Mythri Movie Makers regarding the potential sale of theatrical release rights for their upcoming movie in the Telugu States.
The directorial venture by Koratala Siva, originally scheduled for April 5, has been indefinitely postponed, although an official announcement regarding the delay is still pending. There are speculations that the film might see its theatrical release in September or October.
Starring Janhvi Kapoor as the heroine, the film's shoot will be wrapped up in February. The music is by Anirudh Ravichander and the cinematography is by Rathnavelu. Saif Ali Khan, who recently underwent a tricep surgery, features as the antagonist. Sabu Cyril is its production designer. A Sreekar Prasad is editing the movie. The film's now-successful teaser was released recently.
