The entire line-up of films slated for the Sankranthi 2026 festive season has reportedly finalized and closed its respective Over-The-Top (OTT) streaming deals. The Sankranthi 2026 releases have been distributed across four major streaming platforms:

Jio Hotstar has secured the rights for the horror-comedy fantasy, The Raja Saab. The film stars Prabhas and is directed by Maruthi. This is believed to be the costliest deal that also includes satellite rights by Star Maa.

Amazon Prime Video has sealed a deal for two major features: Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan, and directed by H Vinoth, and the Sharwanand-starrer, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, directed by Ram Abbaraju. The two films are targeting the family audience, although NNNM is more pronounced in its family-friendly entertainment. NNNM, co-starring Samyuktha and Sakshi Vaidya, is produced by AK Entertainment. For the banner, the OTT deal closed in time is a shot in the arm.

ZEE5 has acquired the rights for Chiranjeevi's Mana Shanakra Varaprasad Garu and Ravi Teja's Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, both of which are family films. The former, however, will also feature Anil Ravipudi-style fights. Ravi Teja's film co-stars Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi.

Netflix is set to stream the comedy-drama Anaganaga Oka Raju, featuring Naveen Polishetty and directed by Maari, as well as the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer film, Parasakthi, helmed by Sudha Kongara. AOR is produced by Sithara Entertainments, a banner with a long-standing business relationship with Netflix.

None of these films is likely to be postponed.
