SS Rajamouli has endorsed a recent Tamil-language box-office hit. Tourist Family, the critically-acclaimed movie from Kollywood, has become his most favourite. The Baahubali maker finds the movie wonderful (doubly so!).
Calling the movie "heartwarming and packed with rib-tickling humor", the RRR maker revealed that its content kept him intrigued from the beginning till end. He appreciated the "great writing" by director Abishan Jeevinth. "Thank you for the best cinematic experience in recent years. Don’t miss it," Rajamouli added, telling the audience not to miss it.
Reacting to Rajamouli's appreciation, the director of Tourist Family wrote that the ringing endorsement came as a "wonderful surprise". "It truly made our day even more special. Grateful beyond words," the filmmaker wrote.
Tourist Family stars M Sasikumar, Simran, Yogi Babu and others. When it was released in theatres recently, film critics appreciated its nuances and treatment. "The film scores heavily on the humour front, and these moments also make you think of how willing audiences are just to forget everything and laugh with a film that also makes them think a lot," Indian Express wrote.
