The Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2025 has a special place for Aha, the OTT platform. Many films streaming on the platform have secured the state award in multiple categories.
Second Best Feature Film was awarded to Pottel, a story set in rural Telangana. The film centers on Gangadhar, a father who serves as the guardian of a sacred sheep. Despite facing societal oppression, he aspires to secure a better future for his daughter through education. 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu won the award for Best Children’s Film. This heartwarming tale follows Saraswathi, a mother in the 10th grade, as she supports her academically struggling son with resilience and unconditional love. Nivetha Thomas received the Best Actress award for her moving portrayal of Saraswathi, capturing the character’s emotional strength and maternal resolve.
Saranya Pradeep was recognized as Best Supporting Actress for her layered performance in Ambajipeta Marriage Band. The Best Music Director award went to Bheems Ceciroleo for Razakar, a story on the Hyderabad Liberation movement. The Best Child Artist awards were shared by Arundev Pothula for 35 Chinna Katha Kadhu and Harika for Mercy Killing, both of which are streaming on Aha.
Best Lyricist was awarded to Chandrabose for his work in Raju Yadav, starring Getup Srinu in the lead. Nalla Sreenu won Best Makeup Artist for Razakar. Special Jury Awards were presented to Ananya Nagalla for her role in Pottel, and to Prashanth Reddy and Rajesh Kallepally for their contributions to Raju Yadav.
