Emraan Hashmi's remarks: Pawan Kalyan fans clash with propaganda

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi's recent remarks that some actors don't even turn up on set have sparked a row. A section of the Bollywood media and the cinema-going community has interpreted his comment as an oblique criticism of Salman Khan's alleged unprofessionalism. On the other hand, a section of the social media community running Tollywood pages has deliberately interpreted it otherwise. Since Emraan recently worked with Pawan Kalyan on OG, they feel his remarks were directed at the Power Star.

On their part, many have defended the Deputy CM of AP, citing his commitments to a "better cause" (read his political duties). "It is unlikely that Emraan Hashmi is upset with Kalyan. Even if some script changes were made to accommodate his political duties, he can't be called unprofessional. Emraan must have referred to Salman or some other Bollywood actor. Usually, actors don't make public remarks against their colleagues unless they were belittled or insulted. Emraan had not much direct interaction with Kalyan, and, as it is, the Telugu actor is known to be well-behaved on set," a netizen wrote.
