Leader is scheduled to hit the cinemas on April 3. Its fiercely tenacious Trailer is out. The action drama, starring Legend Saravanan as the indomitable male lead, is produced by Legend Saravana Stores Productions.
Director RS Durai Senthilkumar lets the emotions do the talking right at the outset: Divine intervention is not direct; it's always through humans. By setting up this familiar Indian sentiment before the first punch is landed, the film is positioned to feel like a drama founded in remitting emotion. "Buckle up for a transport action ride," the trailer announces. For a trailer with a relentless pacing, it ends on a teary note, with a school girl telling the hero she doesn't have to call her "Dad" anymore.
Stunt choreographer Mahesh Mathew has worked on the project. Major characters are played by Andrea Jeremiah, Shaam, Santhosh Prathap, among others. Also featuring RX 100 fame Payal Rajput, Lal, and Prabhu, the film's central plot seems to be quite a nail-biting one. Co-starring Amirtha Aiyer, VTV Ganesh, Aishwarya, Aranthangi Nisha, Iyal, Jeyasmirtha, Pathman, Yogiram, and others, the film's music is by Ghibran Vaibhoda. The film was shot in Thoothukudi, Jaipur, Ooty, Georgia, and Chennai.
April 3 is when Leader will be released in theatres in Telugu and Tamil.
