Gunasekhar & Thota Tharani studies Warangal Architechtural Structures for Rudrama Devi

After successfully completing the recent test shoot with 3D technicians in Munich, Germany for his forthcoming streo-scopic 3D movie ‘Rudramavedi’, filmmaker Gunasekhar is now in Warangal along with Thota Tharani to study the historical monument.

Gunasekhar said, “We are very happy with the results after doing the 3D test shoot for a week in Germany. Now we have reached Orugallu along with our art director Padmasri Thota Tharani to stury the Warangal fort, 1000 piller temple and Ramappa temple. We have also gathered lot of information about the history of these monuments. Thota Tharani is planning to design the look alike sets after studying the exquisite architechtural structures. We are going to portray the rich heritage of 13th century Kakatiya Kingdom. ‘Rudramadevi’ will be India’s first historical streoscopic 3D movie.”

Wiith Anushka in title role, the film will have music by maestro Ilayaraja and cinematography by Ajay Vincent. Thota Tharani will design the sets, while fights will be supervised by Ram-Lakshman, costumes will be designed by Neeta Lulla (Jodha Akbar fame), special effects by Kamal Kannan and editing will be done by Srikar Prasad. Gunasekhar will handle the story, screenplay, production and direction.
