In his most recent interview, Dil Raju said that he is making Ram Charan's 15th movie on a controlled budget. He has conveyed to director Shankar how much can be spent on each schedule, and on each day of the shoot.
Ram Charan's fans are upset with Dil Raju's sensible planning strategy. They want RC15 to be made on a lavish budget. "If Raju doesn't spend much on songs, Shankar will not film out-of-the-world songs. We are going to end up watching songs shot in villages." This is the crux of what Charan's fans are complaining about.
They are asking Dil Raju to loosen the purse strings. "Don't put strong controls on the budget. In the least, let Shankar spend as much money as he wants on songs," a fan asked the producer.
Shankar's films have reportedly exceeded the budget by 30% or even more in the past. A case in point is '2.0'. Given this reality, Dil Raju is right in planning everything meticulously. Raju is just starting out in terms of pan-Indian films. He knows the mistakes done by UV Creations with 'Radhe Shyam' and, to a small extent, 'Saaho'.
