'Anni Manchi Sakunamule' is slated to hit the cinemas on May 18. The family drama is directed by Nandini Reddy. A song titled 'Cheyyi Cheyyi Kalipeddam' from the movie is light on emotions and heavy on celebration.

The song (touted as a true-blue sumptuous wedding meal) features not just Santosh Sobhan and Malvika Nair, but also practically everyone in the film. Vennela Kishore makes an appearance, while Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, VK Naresh, and Gauthami indulge in bonhomie. Sowcar Janaki, 'Toli Prema' fame Vasuki and Raj Madiraju are also seen.

Mickey J Meyer's composition is a throwback to the days of 'Brahmotsavam', 'Shatamanam Bhavati' and 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. Rendered by Sri Krishna, Venu Srirangam, Saandip, and Chaitra Ambadipudi, the song is written by Chandrabose. Brinda's dance choreography is elegant.

What producers Swapna and Priyanka Dutt recently said about the movie:

"'AMS' is a simple story with no twists and turns. It is akin to a memorable sojourn, like going to your grandmother's hometown during the Summer holidays. The story takes place in the backdrop of a hill station. The director created a fictional town where the audience will be transported while watching the movie. The visual flavour is unique. It was an expensive decision not to set the story in a typical backdrop."
