Thank You Dear, slated to hit the cinemas on August 1, is a socially relevant film revolving around a burning global issue. It was recently screened at the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Hyderabad Film Club and won awards at the 15th Goa International Film Festival, including Best Director for Thota Sreekanth Kumar.
Thank You Dear is fronted by Dhanush Raghumudri and Hebah Patel. "Some love stories find their true meaning in being incomplete," the recent teaser said.
Ahead of the movie's theatrical release, the core team today spoke to the media.
Director Thota Sreekanth Kumar explained that they had taken a global burning issue and blended it with commercial elements, presenting it in a family-friendly format. He observed that the screenplay played a vital role in the film's cut-back structured narrative. Kumar expressed his gratitude to producer Balaji and the entire cast and crew, noting, “It’s truly special that the film has already received several prestigious awards. I hope audiences connect deeply with the film.”
Producer Pappu Balaji Reddy thanked all the media friends for their presence. He confidently stated that their film would resonate with audiences, adding, “The cast and technical team have given their best support to the project.”
Hero Dhanush Raghumudri expressed his pleasure, saying that "working alongside Hebah Patel and Rekha Nirosha has been a pleasure."
Heroine Rekha Nirosha conveyed her thanks to her producer and director for the opportunity, and also to her co-stars Hebah and Dhanush. She hoped that the audience would "shower love on our film in theatres.”
Music Director Subhash Anand added that he was thankful to director Sreekanth and producer Balaji for the creative freedom they provided, which he felt helped him give his best.
Thank You Dear heads to theatres on August 1.
