For a small film featuring no star cast, Raju Weds Rambai has made a resounding debut, raking in a robust Rs 1.47 crore gross on its opening day across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, according to the makers. Directed by a fresh voice in Tollywood and backed by the Vamsi Nandipati-Bunny Vasu duo, the film stars a promising ensemble cast led by the charismatic leads in a tale of love that transcends boundaries, encapsulated in its poignant tagline: "Bigger than Our Little Hearts."

Producer Rahul Mopidevi, speaking hours after the movie's Friday release, stated that the makers had believed that story would work well with audiences in theatres, and that belief had come true. Distributor Vamsi Nandipati said that he makes it a point to personally read the pulse of the audience watching his movies in theatres. Raju Weds Rambai's content has been able to emotionally connect with the audience, he said. Producer Venu Udugula said that the pre-release claim that the last 30 minutes of the film would be hard-hitting has been borne out.

Raju Weds Rambai is headlined by Akhil Raju and Tejaswini Rao, with Chaitanya Jonnalagadda in a negative role.
