The Paradise will see Dr. Mohan Babu lock horns with Nani's underdog rebellious character. Director Srikanth Odela has cast him in the role of the chief antagonist.
Sharing his look from the movie today, Mohan Babu wrote, "Playing an antagonist is always exciting for me. This is the most brutal role in my career. Odela's vision is raw and gripping. This one’s built to hit hard."
If the role clicks and Mohan Babu dominates Nani in performance, The Paradise will be followed by quite a few important movies from the veteran actor. Lately, he has looked tired offscreen. Even at the pre-release event of Kannappa recently, Mohan Babu looked weathered. He has been troubled by personal problems, with an all-out fight with Manchu Manoj ostensibly upsetting him. The Paradise should milk his exceptional talent. A whole new generation hasn't watched him in his element in the last 2.5 decades.
The Paradise will head to theatres on 26 March 2026.
