As per a report by The Hindu, following the post, sales of tiramisu have gone up in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Fans instantly identified it as Conçu's signature dessert, the report says. "The bakery has outlets in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Orders surged at both locations soon after the post went viral," it adds. Dessert lovers flooded the brand with queries and delivery requests. Conçu had not planned any promotion around the occasion. The spike in demand took the brand by surprise.
It's likely that the sales were driven not just by Tamilians in the two cities but also by Telugus and Malayalis, considering the popularity of Trisha and Vijay, respectively, among them.
