The team behind the upcoming family drama Nawab Cafe gathered today to share their journey. Led by actor Shiva Kandukuri and debutant director Pramod Harsha, the cast and crew expressed immense satisfaction with the final product. The film hits the cinemas on February 20.
Speaking on the occasion, hero Shiva Kandukuri said, "Before others, the team that made the movie should be confident. Before the release of Nawab Cafe, we are 100% satisfied and this is the biggest win. With this film, a sensible director is making his debut. He is going to make many more sensible movies in the coming years. The producer Venkat garu has been a pillar of support. He should do ten more movies after Nawab Cafe. I wish and pray that this film works for the team. Prashanth Vihari's music is very thoughtful. The lyrics are beautiful. I have got to work with talented artists like Rajeev Kanakala. His timing helped me perform better. I am glad that Teju Ashwini has acted in this. You will feel like talking with your father immediately after watching Nawab Cafe."
Chief guest and Pelli Choopulu producer Raj Kandukuri said, "At one particular point while watching Nawab Cafe, you will be invariably reminded of your father. Recent hits like Little Hearts, AAY and Court had a strong emotional core. Our film, too, has one. These days, appreciation is a big deal in itself. Nawab Cafe will surely receive appreciation. Asian Group's Suniel Narang is releasing our movie. Teju Ashwini is a highly talented dancer who runs a dance studio in Chennai. Many acting talents have done this movie."
Actress Teju Ashwini thanked the entire team. "I have to thank our friend, who has become my best friend. His support has been total. I thank director Pramod for choosing me to play Sakhi, a very related character."
Debutant editor Pavan Narava said that he is happy to have got to edit a drama. He thanked the director for his support. "As an editor, I have watched this movie about 400 times. Some scenes are so moving," he added.
Director Pramod Harsha said that his creative rapport and alignment with cinematographer Kranthi Varla helped a lot. He mentioned his technicians in the direction department. "I must thank my hero, Shiva, for being so patient throughout. He spent a great deal of time on this," the director said.
Producer Venkat R Papudippu said, "This is a healthy family comedy-drama between a father-son duo. I can confidently say that the quality of music in Nawab Cafe is among the best in recent times. Good dialogues, emotions, music... This is an all-round movie that you can watch with your family.
