Political leader Chinna Srisailam Yadav is happy for the team behind Mayookha, a "trend-setting thriller" that has completed its 25-day run at the box office. He is happy for both director Shree Tej SK and producer Sasidhar Nalla, whom he has known for years. Speaking at the film's success meet, he vowed to coordinate with the government and administration to secure incentives for "small films".

Executive Producer D. Girish Reddy raised a toast to the director's calibre, which alone made it possible to get quality output on a limited budget. He predicted that Shree Tej can pull off a bigger range of success if provided with more resources.

The team is thrilled to find that occupancies are as high as 50% even after 25 days. "This is nothing less than genuine support, especially given that Mayookha didn't receive any traction at the start. My producer's convictions have paid off. "I believe I have lived up to his trust. Our heroine Payal also believed in the story when I narrated it to her," he added.

Producer Sasidhar Nalla sees the success as a tribute to Mayookha's rich content. "This feels special at a time when it's hard to bring audiences to theatres. It's a matter of pride. A well-executed, well-scripted movie can go a long way," he added.

Heroine Payal Chengappa recalled that Mayookha secured the Best Mystery Movie award at the New York Film Festival. The honour, which came along before the theatrical release, was a great morale-booster. Thanking the audience and the makers for the support, Payal spoke of the film's highlights.

Actor Raghu Vasireddy attributed his success shield recognition to director Shree Tej's guidance, while actor Abhilash Adda and Mahendranath Koundla stressed how rare and challenging it is for a small film to sustain a 25-day run in today's cinema landscape. V5 Managing Director Venkatesh noted that the movie fulfilled the strong potential seen during its early premieres, and actor Dev D commended the producer for backing an innovative concept with a new team and the director for effectively bringing the vision to life.

Also starring Bigg Boss fame Aman Masood, Muralidhar Goud, Lavanya Rani, Charishma Dabbara, Janu Varma, Nanaji Karri, Madi Nasreen, Baby Manvi, Master Shanmukh Charan, Shashi Kadiri, Rambabu Ramisetti, Pawan Lakkireddy, Manisai, Sathya Vithal, Prashvitha Chowdary Nalla, Vegi Naidu, Sridhar, and Manikantha, the film is edited by Sharath J. Farhan. Vadakkam (DoP) and Shibi Mathew Alex (Music) have also worked on Mayookha.
