Maryada Ramanna - 'Ammayi Kitiki Pakkana' tells how Keeravani knows to put out good music.
SS Rajamouli-MM Keeravani combination delivered some real cool hits right from ‘Student No 1’ to the recent ‘Magadheera’. Now the duo came up with yet another interesting product, i.e., ‘Maryada Ramanna’. This film on Rayalaseema backdrop blend with comedy and emotions has Sunil and Saloni as lead pair. I needn’t have to tell in particular about this amazing music director, isn’t it! So here we go..……
Ammayi Kitiki Pakkana  Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Anantha Sriram Singer: Karunya, Chaitra
Aaahh! So refreshing! This song truly reminds me of Rajesh Khanna’s ‘Mere Sapno Ki Rani Hein Tu’. Keeravani being the master of many forms of music composed this vintage song in style with a mix of old musical instruments. I’m fascinated by the whistle sound that sounds like a moving train. Karunya and Chaitra are the right choice to croon this song. Ananth Sriram’s lyrics are classy too. Overall the song will lift your heart, warm your soul and make you feel good. Indeed, a true classic in itself!
Udyogam Oodipoyindi  Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Ramjogayya Sastry Singer: Ranjith
This song starts with energetic vocals and interesting lyrics. This is a situation bound song. The hero sings in the scene when he becomes jobless. Ranjith sings it in his usual style. The song is good but with a passable tune.
Telugammayi  Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Anantha Sriram Singer: M.M. Keeravani, Geetha Madhuri
‘Telugammayi’ is yet another sweet song composed by Keeravani who also lent his voice. Geetha Madhuri joins him and renders her charming voice. Lyrics by Ananth Sriram are glorious. Although this song isn’t as exciting as ‘Ammayi Kitiki Pakkana’, it’s still good to listen for its different style of music.
Raaye Raaye  Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Chaitanya Prasad Singer: Raghu Kunche, Geetha Madhuri
‘Raaye Raaye Raaye Raaye Raaye Saloni’ is catchy, foot-tapping percussion song. This delightful, funky piece with catchy drum beats in high volume is a danceable track. The right choice of singers had given a lift to this track. Raghu Kunche and Geetha Madhuri are as usual magnificent. It appears Chaitanya Prasad enjoyed the most while penning lyrics to this song, very catchy and well- written.
Parugulu Thiyy  Music: M.M. Keeravani Lyrics: Sirivennela Singer: S.P. Balasubrahmanyam
This last song ‘Parugulu Thiyy’ starts off like a heavy techno vibe with very very heavy beats. It’s a fast track with SPB’s vocals in high volume pitch. This is yet another situation bound song to lift the spirits of the hero when he feels down. Sirivennela’s lyrics are quite inspirational.
While the album has both heavy and soft variety songs, it’s the softer songs that stand out. ‘Ammayi Kitiki Pakkana’ enlightens how Keeravani knows to put out good music.
