Amazon Prime Video bagged streaming rights for Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s ‘2.0’
Amazon Prime Video India has bagged the streaming rights of Superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson starrer ‘2.0’ at a record setting price. The sequel of Rajinikanth’s memorable sci-fi film will be available in the library of the video streaming site soon. The film will be available to Prime members in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Directed by S Shankar, ‘2.0’ is India’s most expensive production till date. The film is being produced by Lyca Productions. Rajinikanth is reprising dual role of the scientist Vaseegaran and the robot Chitti. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is playing main antagonist. The film also features Amy Jackson and Adil Hussain. The film has music by Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman. The film is expected to hit theaters in April 2018.
