Leaked audio involving actress Ashu Reddy has surfaced online. The brief clip brings out a contentious financial dispute with Y Dharmendra, who recently lodged a police complaint alleging that she cheated him in the name of marriage. In the recording, Ashu proposes a multi-stage settlement, offering an immediate payment of Rs. 1.5 crores in May, with the remaining balance to be cleared through lifelong installments.
Ashu warns Dharmendra that if these terms are not accepted and he continues to press for immediate repayment of all dues, she will initiate a formal harassment case against him. From the clip, it is evident that she wished for a private resolution mediated by elders (one of whom is the astrologer Venu Swamy) to avoid involving their respective families.
Many are shocked that Ashu Reddy didn't fear her name being dragged into the public domain. Meanwhile, she has approached the Telangana High Court, requesting for the FIR against her to be quashed. Ordinarily, if the HC believes that the FIR was registered on flimsy evidence, it orders for its quashing.
