Don’t Trouble the Trouble, slated to be released in theaters on October 2, stars Fahadh Faasil as a materialistic trickster who gets into trouble because of a girl child. It's backed by SS Rajamouli, the presenter, and is produced by SS Karthikeya.
At the film's pre-release event on Tuesday, Jr NTR made his presence felt as a chief guest, delivering a touching speech, in which he also talked about what the larger Rajamouli family means to him. He hoped for the success of new director Shashank Yeleti. "I am very happy to see Karthikeya standing here today as a producer. He has been part of every effort undertaken by our Jakkanna, supporting RRR and the Baahubali films from behind. I hope this film becomes a great milestone in Karthikeya’s career," the Nandamuri actor added, also reconfirming the release date of his upcoming movie, Dragon (June 11, 2027).
The Devara actor was all praise for FaFA. "I watched one of his films for the first time in Bengaluru. There are very few actors whom I truly admire, and Fahadh Faasil is the first among them. Fahadh is an actor the entire country can be proud of. I believe Fahadh sir, who is playing the lead actor in a Telugu film for the first time, will achieve great success with this movie," Tarak added.
Rajamouli expressed emotional gratitude to Jr NTR for attending the event while praising Fahadh Faasil’s remarkable versatility and immense popularity among Telugu audiences. Reflecting on the project's origins, the Magadheera maker recalled how director Shashank pitched the unique concept of a man kidnapping a ghost three years ago, leading to a compelling narrative that moved the speaker to tears upon watching. Confident in the film's potential to become a major blockbuster, he also commended producer Karthikeya's strong business acumen and invited audiences to enjoy the grand release on October 2.
FaFa said, "About 90% of the film was shot on real locations. I am happy to have done a direct Telugu movie. It's like a first movie for me. I love the journey we had. I have dubbed myself. The technical team has been an amazing support system. Producer Shobu Yarlagadda has been like a big brother on set." The Malayalam actor also praised Karthikeya, saying that he will be indebted to him. He urged the audience to discover a new pattern of love, format of love and magic in DTTT on October 2nd in theatres. He implied that the film will stand tall among many classics that he wished he did but couldn't.
Music director MM Keeravani hoped for Shashank Yeleti to surpass the popularity of his mentor, Chandrasekhar Yeleti. "Having Balakrishna Garu voice the trailer makes this moment extra special. With his blessings, the success of this film feels truly assured," the Varanasi composer shared, further raising Jai Balayya and Jai NTR slogans.
Director Shashank revealed that FaFa okayed the story at the first narration. His mentor, Chandrasekhar Yeleti's sensibilities, and Rajamouli's fantastical Eega, are among his biggest inspirations. "Tarak anna is one of those films whom I first told I would be turning into a director. SS Karthikeya is a pillar of support, my friend, my confidante," he added.
Producer SS Karthikeya shared that Shashank has worked like an experienced filmmaker. "No scene will feel like you have seen it before. There are highs and at the same time unique scenes. I thank FaFa sir for giving us the opportunity to bring him to Telugu cinema," he added.
