Extended shooting schedules for the upcoming action-thriller The Paradise have triggered a massive shake-up in Natural Star Nani’s future lineup, media reports suggest. With the Srikanth Odela directorial continuously overshooting its original timelines (funnily, the makers recently claimed that everything is on schedule, although the film has been postponed once officially and another time unofficially), Nani has been forced to pass on two potentially successful director collaborations due to a complete lack of available call sheets over the next two years.
The first casualty is a project with Hi Nanna maker Shouryuv. Realizing his scheduling bottleneck, the Ante Sundaraniki actor gracefully advised the filmmaker to move forward. The project then moved to Vijay Deverakonda.
A script narrated by Jai Bhim fame TJ Gnanavel has also slipped away, unconfirmed media reports say. The Kollywood director has pivoted the venture to Tamil star Suriya, with Hombale Films backing it. This could prove to be a blessing in disguise, though. Tamil filmmakers are highly unreliable. Gnanavel's Vettaiyan with Rajinikanth was supremely boring.
Meanwhile, Bloody Romeo, to be directed by OG maker Sujeeth, has also been delayed. As things stand, the project is very much with Nani.
