Sanjay Vishwanath (Suriya) is coming with everything you’ve felt missing all these years," stated producer S Naga Vamsi, making an all-encompassing pitch for the lead protagonist in his production, Vishwanath And Sons. The movie's teaser is out and it more than compensates for the lack of family-friendly comedy-dramas over the last few years.
At 1 minute and 44 seconds, the teaser establishes the world director Venky Atluri sets his high-stakes romance in. Mamitha Baiju's character falls in love with Suriya's 40-something millionaire character. The director gives a lighter-veined treatment to this forbidden romance.
While Radhika Sarathkumar plays the male lead's mother (among other things, she has to contend with her son's new-found friend, who occasionally behaves like Genelia's character from Bommarillu), Raveena Tandon's character is a mystery for now.
GV Prakash Kumar, Nimish Ravi, Navin Nooli and Banglan are handling music, cinematography, editing, and production design departments, respectively. Vishwanath And Sons is jointly produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
"A story of dreams, emotions and unexpected love unfolds," the makers added, sharing the teaser. The biggest family entertainer of 2026 will head to cinemas this July.
