Thimmarajupalli TV, which is scheduled to be released in theatres on April 17, is led by actor Sai Tej. Speaking at the movie's pre-release event on Tuesday, he thanked producer Kiran Abbavaram for picking him for the lead role at a time when he was an online editor. Rahasya Kiran, the CEO of KA Productions, insisted that only he should play the lead, much against advice by others not to proceed with him. "I feel happier being called Kiran anna's brother than a hero," he added.
Heroine Veda Jalandhar praised Kiran for providing acting and other opportunities to as many as 60 freshers. She felt that Kiran's resolve stems from his lack of background. "Our film may not feature lavish songs filmed abroad or high-octane action sequences. It has a long staying power in your hearts," he added.
Producer Kiran Abbavaram thanked his supporters and his parents. He sounded super-confident and jubilant when he said that his maiden production venture will set a benchmark among small-scale films (that typically rely on their meaningful content. Although the budget is not much, the visual quality is surprisingly evolved, he suggested. "Beyond Vamsi Kanth’s brilliant music, this film represents the livelihoods of fifty families. I don't want praise for being a provider; I want respect for the craft we have put on screen. My investment matters less than the success of these new artists. Supporting them is a responsibility I take seriously. I guarantee this film will keep you hooked from start to finish," Kiran added.
During the event, the cast members expressed their deep gratitude for the platform provided to them. Actor Balaraju shared his hope that while few knew him before this project, the film would bring him widespread recognition. Sai Krishna noted that Kiran’s support gives hope to many aspiring artists, praising the producer for encouraging talent across all crafts. Anil described the movie as a time-travel journey, while Lathish promised a lively and entertaining experience akin to a family celebration. Teja Vihan, who plays a character named TV Kumar, remarked that in his five years in the industry, he had never seen anyone support newcomers like Kiran. Satyanarayana and TV Raman both emphasized the passion and dedication the team poured into the project, noting that the promotional intensity matches their hard work.
The supporting cast also highlighted the personal impact of the project. Actor Chittibabu compared Kiran’s kind-hearted nature to his own character, Nagaraju, a loyal friend. Pratap Reddy, an army veteran, revealed that the producer gave him a chance to act after learning of his interest, naming Kiran and director Muniraju as the film's guiding forces. Actress Madhavi described the film as a refreshing summer camp experience, while Amma Ramesh compared Kiran's supportive nature to the protective brother character in the film Annavaram. Adding to the praise, actress Swathi mentioned that she had waited a long time for the right opportunity, which she finally found through this film. Rajashree spoke of the team's collective passion, and Pradeep shared his surprise at being cast in an important role after initially hoping for a small part, asserting that the film will engage the audience even more than the trailer and songs.
Costume designer Vishalya noted that the movie serves as a bridge for Gen Z to understand traditional customs, a sentiment echoed by Rahasya Kiran, who stated that the film allows those unfamiliar with village life to experience that culture.
ETV Win Business Head Sai Krishna lauded Kiran’s courage in backing a film featuring newcomers, while Marketing Head Chavan remarked that KA Productions is fulfilling its promise to ensure new talent does not have to struggle as Kiran once did.
Cinematographer Akshay Ram Podishetty and Art Director Sudheer Macharla spoke of the year-long hard work and the beautiful visuals captured in Kuppam. Creative Producer Rithikesh Gorak assured audiences of the quality associated with the banner, and Director V Muniraju expressed his lasting loyalty to the production house, stating, “Those who give opportunities are great, and KA Productions has become like a family to me."
