Actor VarunTej is currently doing a Volleyball-based movie titled Bhari. The film will go on the floors soon. As part of the prep for the role, he has been practising the sport.
The news is that the actor has sustained a serious leg injury during today's practice session. "He is expected to undergo surgery today at Apollo Hospital. Wishing him strength during the procedure and a swift recovery," his team stated.
Bhari is produced by his sister, Niharika Konidela. "I completely trust my sister's sensibilities. I know the kind of talent he wants to encourage. It takes talent to spot talent. I am extremely proud as a brother," he recently said. Yadhu Vamsi is helming the project, which will head to theatres for Sankranthi 2027.
