How Toxic may have similarities with Dhurandhar

Dhurandhar shattered expectations by steering clear of the usual underworld cliches. It had the India versus Pakistan conflict. It did rely on nationalistic tropes to drive its emotional stakes. Furthermore, the film was based on true events. Yet, it was a gangster action drama at its core.

Actor Yash has hinted that Toxic follows a similar path of psychological depth. The film focuses on internal human struggles rather than external political battles. The film explores the intricate feelings of its characters. This creates a "fairy tale for grown-ups" that feels both fresh and unpredictable. Fans should expect a narrative that prioritizes character study over mindless action.

Both Dhurandhar and Toxic prove that the genre can evolve beyond guns and glory. May be, Toxic will offer a sophisticated take on power and consequence.

Toxic will head to theatres on June 4. Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth and others are playing different roles in it.
