Pallichattambi Trailer: A Hero Rises in Kunnumpuram

Pallichattambi's pan-Indian theatrical release is just five days away. Ahead of the movie's multi-lingual release on April 10, its trailer debuted on Sunday.

The trailer features a group of greedy individuals targeting poor landowners in Kunnumpuram, the embattled village in which the film's story is set. These villains use a crooked police officer (played by Shatru) to crush any resistance. As expected, a hero (Tovino Thomas) eventually arrives in the village to lead the charge. A mythical hero-building follows.

The film seems to feature punchy lines: "To sever this land's veins, one by one, he will come," a character declares, foreshadowing the arrival of the saviour. Kayadu Lohar falls in love with Kerala's toughest goon, played by Tovino. While the hero is referred to as a goon, the heroine gets likened as a divine maiden. Shatru's ruthless cop orders the burning down of the village of Kunnumpuram.

Helmed by Dijo Jose Antony, the film also features Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, Baburaj, Vinod Kedamangalam, and Prashanth Alexander. The technical backbone of the project features a talented creative team, with Dileep Nath leading the production design and Sreejith Sarang overseeing the editing process. The visual aesthetic is captured through the cinematography of Tijo Tomy, while the auditory atmosphere is crafted by composer Jakes Bejoy.

To be released in theatres on April 10, Pallichattambi is produced by Noufal and Brijeesh, and CCC Brothers.
